What is a Homestay?
A homestay is a cultural exchange experience where an international student lives with a local host family during their stay in the United States. It gives students the opportunity to experience American culture in a real and meaningful way while living in a safe, welcoming home environment.
Through shared meals, conversations, and everyday family life, students naturally improve their English skills, build confidence, and create lasting memories and connections during their time abroad.

English Lessons

At FOA, we understand that every school has different educational objectives, student profiles, and learning outcomes. That's why we do not offer a one-size-fits-all ESL curriculum.
English classes are often integrated with the students' daily activities, excursions, and homestay experiences, allowing them to learn vocabulary, expressions, and communication strategies that can be immediately applied in real-life situations. This practical approach helps students gain confidence and make meaningful connections between classroom learning and authentic cultural experiences.
